At gluzeighod, we are committed to your satisfaction with our online tutoring services. This Return Policy outlines our refund and cancellation procedures to ensure transparency and fairness for all students.

1. Service Nature

Our online tutoring services are delivered live through video conferencing sessions. Unlike physical products, our services are consumed at the time of delivery. This policy reflects the unique nature of educational services and our commitment to maintaining quality while being fair to both students and tutors.

2. Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to be completely satisfied with your learning experience at gluzeighod. If you are not happy with your first tutoring session, please contact us within 48 hours of the session completion. We will work with you to either provide a replacement session with a different tutor at no additional charge or issue a full refund for that specific session.

This satisfaction guarantee applies only to your first session with a new tutor and is limited to one use per student account.

3. Cancellation Policy

Student-Initiated Cancellations

We understand that schedules can change unexpectedly. You may cancel or reschedule sessions according to the following terms:

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session will receive a full credit that can be applied to future sessions.
  • Cancellations made between 12 and 24 hours before the scheduled session will receive a 50 percent credit.
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled session or no-shows will forfeit the session with no credit or refund.
  • Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of gluzeighod management.

Tutor-Initiated Cancellations

If your tutor needs to cancel a session for any reason, you will receive a full credit for the session and priority rescheduling. We will make every effort to provide you with a replacement session at your preferred time or offer an alternative qualified tutor if you prefer.

Technical Issues

If a session cannot be completed due to technical difficulties on our end or issues with our platform, you will receive a full credit or refund at your preference. If technical issues on your end prevent session completion, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional charge, though this courtesy is limited to reasonable occurrences.

4. Refund Policy

Package Refunds

If you have purchased a tutoring package and wish to discontinue services:

  • Unused sessions from packages may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase, minus a 10 percent administrative fee and the value of any sessions already completed.
  • After 30 days from purchase, package refunds are available only in exceptional circumstances as determined by gluzeighod management.
  • Sessions that have been completed or missed due to late cancellation or no-show are not eligible for refund.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow your financial institution additional time to post the credit to your account.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Digital learning materials that have been accessed or downloaded
  • Completed tutoring sessions
  • Sessions missed due to student no-show or late cancellation
  • Administrative or registration fees
  • Promotional or discounted sessions purchased through special offers

5. Rescheduling

We encourage rescheduling rather than canceling whenever possible. You may reschedule sessions at no charge if done at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduled sessions must be completed within the validity period of your package. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your preferred rescheduling times, subject to tutor availability.

6. Package Expiration

All tutoring packages have a validity period from the date of purchase:

  • Starter Package: Valid for 2 months
  • Premium Package: Valid for 3 months
  • Elite Package: Valid for 4 months

Sessions not used within the validity period will expire with no refund or credit. Extensions may be granted in exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or family emergency, subject to approval by gluzeighod management and provision of appropriate documentation.

7. Disputed Charges

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us immediately at info@gluzeighod.world. We will investigate all billing concerns promptly and resolve any errors within 5 business days. Please allow us the opportunity to address billing issues before initiating a chargeback with your financial institution.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account and services while the dispute is being resolved.

8. Account Termination

Gluzeighod reserves the right to terminate accounts for violation of our Terms of Use, abusive behavior toward tutors or staff, fraudulent payment activity, or repeated no-shows or late cancellations. In cases of account termination by gluzeighod for policy violations, no refunds will be provided.

You may voluntarily close your account at any time. Any unused credits or sessions will be handled according to our standard refund policy outlined above.

9. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify our services, pricing, and policies at any time. Changes will not affect packages already purchased under previous terms. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes to our service offerings or policies.

10. Consumer Rights

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights under New Zealand consumer protection law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If our services fail to meet guarantees under the Act, you may be entitled to remedies beyond those outlined in this policy.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet service disruptions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule sessions or provide appropriate credits or refunds.
